Accident Injure Two People

March 2, 2006

Two accidents injured four people near St. Louis over the weekend, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

An accident at 12:45 p.m. Saturday on County Road 335 west of Jackson injured Britanie Randol, 21, of Jackson, her 2-year-old daughter Addison and 1-year-old son Isaiah.

All three were taken by ambulance to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, the patrol said.

The accident occurred as an eastbound car driven by Casey Nicholas, 18, of Jackson made a left turn in front of Randol's westbound car. Randol's car then struck the eastbound vehicle.

The patrol issued a traffic citation to Nicholas.
