Two people were injured in a two-vehicle traffic accident two miles east of Marionville in Lawrence County on Highway 60 at 9:30 p.m. yesterday, November 2.
According to the report of The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Carol Worley, 58, and Christopher Jones, 19, both of Marionville, the two drivers, sustained minor injuries and were taken to St. John's Hospital-Aurora.
The wreck occurred when the eastbound Mercury driven by Christopher Jones stopped to make a left turn and was struck in the back end by the eastbound Saturn driven by Carol Worley.
Investigating officer Trooper Steve Jones cited Carol Worley for careless and imprudent driving.
