Two school bus accidents far apart in Missouri have injured 12 students.
A school bus and a car have collided in Kansas City. Five students were hurt badly enough to require them to be checked at hospitals.
About a dozen students were unhurt. The driver of the car has been ticketed for running a red light and hitting the bus in the side.
A second crash, in Branson, has left seven elementary students with minor injuries. Police say a car ran a stop sign, crossed two lanes of traffic, and hit the bus in the side. About 20 other students were not hurt.
